Academic Development Coaching can support you at any stage in your academic journey, focusing on both academic performance and enhancing personal wellbeing and academic resilience. Managing course demands with other areas of life will ultimately determine continued engagement, motivation and well-being during your studies. Working out what that balance looks like for you is often a first important step.

Confidence – overcome doubts and feelings of imposter syndrome
Clarity – work through thinking and ideas to maintain a strong focus
Perspective – manage study/work/life balance and avoid burnout
Motivation – understand and harness unique personal motivations to study
Progression – develop a system of goals and checks to manage time and experience real achievement
Support – talk through worries and concerns in coping with university life

Coaching for postgraduates (Masters and PhD students) combines coaching with elements of mentoring to support any stage of research or doctoral work. Undergraduates can gain coaching support throughout their degree programme, as well as with regards to decisions about future careers or further study options.
I also work with parents/guardians in helping them to support students during their time in Higher Education, as well as navigate what is often a very significant personal life transition for themselves.
